In March of 2006, ArenaBlade Technologies announced the intent of creating an Operating System dedicated to its specialized 3D technology, intended for use in drafting and machining plants and educational settings. This Operating System runs under the title of RazorOS.
This new operating system is not a Linux derivative, or any other already-existing free or commercial operating system. It is a new software, built from the ground up to give the most power to the 3D technology that it will serve. It is proprietary to the processors that will be used for it, which will not be x86-based but a different architecture not revealed publically yet. Because of this, it will not run on most computers, and will not be available for general purchase.
Investigations are currently being done on making machines available to the general public, which, if carried out, would be the only way for anyone not in the target market to acquire machines capable of using this operating system.
